From Wallflower to Famous

Micah 5:2

Ever felt like you were the legendary “wall flower?” Always there but never seen. Just a figure in the scene that fades into the back ground?

Well imagine being called “little among the thousands”! Not just the runt of the litter, the smallest in the family, or the pipsqueak on the block – but “little among the thousands”! Those are some pretty hurtful words. Kinda like saying “You will never be useful” or “You will never amount to anything!”

No destiny, no future, no purpose! And not only that, but you are singled out by your full name so everyone knows who is the one that is “little among the thousands!”

But then GOD steps in and delivers your destiny, your future, your purpose!

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah.. There it is! The words that tell the world you will never amount to anything! Even specifying which Bethlehem you are!

BUT THEN GOD STEPS INTO YOUR DESTINY, YOUR FUTURE AND GIVES YOU A PURPOSE!

“Yet” … Hallelujah for the “yet”s God puts into our lives. “Yet” means God is not done, the story is not over! He isn’t finished with you “yet!”

And now comes the Promise that only God can announce. Only He can design a divine purpose for your life – write your destiny from Heaven!

“out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”

Your “yet” was written long before you were born, long before your journey began! Your blessings were in God’s store house from the beginning of time!

This little out-of-the-way town, “little among the thousands”, would someday be the birthplace of HE who was ordained from the beginning of time, from of old, From Everlasting!

Never sell yourself short! Never give into the lies of Satan that you will never amount to anything in God’s Kingdom! Your story could be the inspiration of others you meet.  Your testimony maybe the birthplace of another soul born into the Kingdom!

Luke 2:4-7

So Joseph also went up from Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem, since he was from the house and line of David….While they were there, the time came for her Child to be born.
